Strategic Planning at UW-L
The strategic plan is the result a "Future Search Conference" conducted in 2003, which included students, faculty, academic staff, classified staff, administrators, alumni, and community members. The Joint Planning and Budget Committee (JPB) developed and refined the plan based on the results of the Future Search Conference. During the 2003-2004 Academic Year, the committee shared the draft with the University Committee and collected feedback. The plan was approved by the Chancellor during the summer of 2004. The JPB serves as the primary committee responsible for coordinating implementation efforts and for monitoring the progress of the plan.
