Students also review the most current research and trends in outdoor pursuits/adventure education. The emphasis of this program is trip planning and curriculum development in public schools and private business. Expedition planning and extended programming is beyond the scope of this concentration. Past classes have included; rock climbing in Colorado, Sea Kayaking on Lake Superior, Canoeing in the boundary waters and climbing Anchor Schools at Devil's Lake, northern Wisconsin and Rocky Mountain National Park areas. We truly believe in making physical education an adventure!
