Dr. Freeman's area of specialization is political theory/philosophy.  He teaches in the General Honors Program.  Environmentalism and the Green Party are special interests of his.  Dr. Freeman is married to Lucy and has one son, Kevin.  He enjoys tennis, golf, and camping.  Prior to coming to UW La Crosse in the fall of 1988.  Dr. Freeman taught at the University of Southern Colorado, Pikes Peak Community College, UW-Stevens Point, and Colorado State University.  He was also the editor of weekly newspapers in La Jara, Del Norte, and South Fork, Colorado.
