Dr. Rodgers specializes in urban affairs, public policy, research methods, and state and local government.  Dr. Rodgers, with Dr. Heim, researches public opinion for local governmental bodies and media.  She also performs program evaluations of governmental programs with public administration students.  In recent years she has enjoyed teaching UW-La Crosse students in Innsbruck, Austria in the summers.  She has been active in University advising and University politics.  Dr. Rodgers is married to Vaughn, a chemistry professor at Viterbo.  She enjoys golf, camping, reading, and is a true Purdue Boilermaker fan.  Prior to joining the Department in 1989, Dr. Rodgers taught at Black Hills State University in South Dakota.
