Welcome To the Pride Center

The Pride Center is devoted to serving students, faculty, staff and members of the campus community that may or may not label themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, questioning, asexual individuals their allies (LGBTIQQAA) and students, faculty and staff with LGBTIQQAA family members or friends.

UW-La Crosse ranks in the top 100 Schools for LGBTIQQAA students to attend!

This is possible through the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, administration, and students to make sure that our campus is a welcoming and affirming environment.

EAGLE PRIDE SCHOLARSHIP!!!

Spring 2011 allowed the Pride Center and Rainbow Unity to offer the first Eagle Pride Scholarships. Current UW-L Student Grant Dvork received a $1,000.00 scholarship and First year student Cody Babcock received a $500.00 scholarship!

In 2011, the 10th Annual Drag In the City Show raised $2,000.00 for the LGBT Resource Center for the Seven Rivers Region!

NEW Social Networking Site for LGBTQ Youth!

The Trevor Project has officially launched its newest program, TrevorSpace! TrevorSpace.org is the only free, online social networking community for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, ages 13 through 24 and their friends and allies! Find support, make new friends, and learn how to get involved in your local LGBTQ community.
