UW-L, as part of its commitment to diversity, endeavors to bring facult and artists of color to campus for visits of short (several days) or longer (several weeks) durations. If you are interested in coming to UW-L and having opportunities for significant interaction with students, please contact an appropriate academic department (academic departments initiate the process).
To be eligible, you must be a United States born person of color and/or a “minority” individual as defined by affirmative action.
Interested in brining a visiting faculty/artist of color to campus?
As of Fall 2005, there are formal guidelines and deadlines for requesting funding to bring a scholar or artist of color to campus.
Deadlines:
- Visits during Fall Semester: September 1
- Visits during Spring Semester and Summer Sessions: December 1
