     Welcome to the new Intramural Sports website! Intramural Sports are the most popular extracurricular activity offered on campus, and getting involved in the program is a great way to meet new people, reconnect with friends, continue playing the sports that you have grown to love, or you can try a new activity you've never played before! UW-L offers team, dual, and individual league options in which participants compete for the ever-popular and highly-coveted Intramural Championship T-Shirt. You can organize your own team or utilize the free agents list in hopes of getting picked up by another team looking for more players.

    Registration is now open for the following activities:

    This Spring, your Intramural Basketball team will now have the chance to play more basketball!

    On Saturday, January 31st, Rec Sports will be hosting a one-day tournament for interested teams at the REC.

    Registration for the tournament will open Monday, January 26th at 7:00 am on IMLeagues.

    The entry fee of $20 will guarantee your team at least two (2) games and tournament champions will receive the new charcoal gray Spring championship t-shirts!

    This tournament is open to 8 Men's, 4 Women's and 4 Co-Rec teams on a first-come, first serve basis and will also serve as a training component for Intramural officials and supervisors. All regular Intramural Basketball rules, including the no pockets rule will be enforced during this tournament. There are no "A," "B," or "C" divisional breakdowns for the tournament. 

    Teams that register for this tournament ARE NOT guaranteed a registration spot for the regular-season basketball league.

    Men's, Women's, and Co-Rec leagues are offered with "A" and "B" divisions when applicable. "A" leagues are for more competitive teams whereas "B" leagues are considered recreational. Participants may compete on one Co-Rec and one single-gender team within the same sport only. Teams will play regular-season contests on a designated night and/or time depending on the league for either a 4-week or 5-week schedule. Qualifying teams will be entered into a playoff bracket to compete for their chance of winning the championship shirt.


    Intramural Sports uses IMLeagues for all registrations, payments, captain's meetings, and team scheduling endeavors. For more questions regarding IMLeagues, please see the IMLeagues Instructions Page  in the General Information section below.
