The housekeeper assistant position is a year-long commitment. A variety of tasks are assigned to a housekeeper assistant, who is supervised directly by the hall director or assistant hall director of their building. In addition, the housekeeper(s) of the hall may indirectly supervise or provide feedback to the housekeeper assistant from time to time. Successful housekeeper assistants are self-starters. They are willing to vacuum hallways three times a week, take out trash on weekends, sweep stairwells, and perform other minimal cleaning tasks as assigned.
