RA Job Description

DC Job Description

Note that applications are due December 12th. The following application is for both positions in Reuter and the Traditional Halls, but there are different parts of the form that you fill out based on different positions.

Recommendation forms

You will need to ask two people to complete these reference forms for you. One Recommendation should be completed by a current or former Resident Assistant or Desk Coordinator. If they would like, they can use the e-paper forms themselves and print it out. Otherwise, print off a copy for them and make sure they return it to the Office of Residence Life before the application deadline. (You may want to give them a pre-addressed stamped envelope to ensure delivery!).

Application Process/Timeline

New Candidate Applications: Wednesday December 12 at 4:00pm to the Office of Residence Life
After completing the application, you will be contacted sometime in early January to be signed up for Reuter Interviews where applicable, and sometime in late January/early February for the traditional buildings on campus. At that point you will be asked to submit/sign up for some times. So watch for emails to your university account as that is the way we will be contacting you.

Reuter Interview Nights: January 25th and 26th

Traditional Interview Nights: February 16, 17 and 19th

Reuter has a separate process for staff positions, so if you have interest in Reuter you will complete the Reuter process. If you have interest in both you will complete the Reuter process first, then decide if you want to complete the regular process. Both processes start with the same application, so use the form above.

If you have any questions, special needs, or concerns about this process feel free to call Rob Andrews at (608)785-8081 and he will help you to the best of his abilities.

The forms use e-paper, which requires Adobe's free Acrobat Reader to complete. Residence hall computer labs have necessary software and can print to the front desk at no charge. For those wishing to complete forms from a personal computer, a link appears below. Acrobat PDF files are PC and Macintosh compatible.
