Leadership Opportunities
University of Wisconsin La Crosse Office of Residence Life

UW-L's Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is named in honor of Carol Bassuener, who worked for many years with the Office of Residence Life as an Assistant Director. As part of the national organization, NRHH recognizes the accomplishments of individuals who make outstanding contributions to our Residence Life program. We believe that recognition is necessary to help build strong communities within our residence halls. The Of the Month (OTM) Awards program encourages students to nominate their peers, staff and hall communities for their achievements throughout the year. In addition, we also sponsor and fund programs and events on campus as well as organizing leadership workshops and encouraging involvement.

NRHH provides support to the La Crosse community by hosting events and supporting charities, as well as various workshops and conferences in local schools. Membership in the NRHH organization represents the top 1% of students in the residence halls, and inductees are selected through an application process held each semester.
