Electronic Portfolios
All SAA students must create an electronic portfolio. The portfolio will be evaluated as part of the Capstone course and also provides a wonderful tool for SAA program assessment. Located at http://acadweb.uwlax.edu/portfolios/cls/psy/saa. feel free to take a look!
Guidelines
Requirements:
- An “Introduction/Home” link should be present (like your own homepage to introduce yourself) – include contact info
- All 7 Competencies should be present
- 1 artifact (professional piece) should be selected from each course (and assigned to a Competency area)
- Each artifact should have a reflection statement attached
- Each Competency should have a minimum of 1 artifact
- Resume
Optional:
- ITS
offers SharePoint Designer and a template (with
instructions) but you may use your own website design/source
and transfer that to the SAA E Portfolio page
- Video presentation
- Other creative elements
Your Advisor’s Role:
- Check in periodically with advisee regarding progress
- Sign-off on completed E Portfolio before graduation
Timeline:
- The E Portfolio should be designed and in place on the UW-L SAA website by the middle of the second semester in the program
- The E Portfolio will be assessed as part of the Capstone course
