  • The first-ever "Study Tour to the UK" for January 2009 is a "go!" The group meets in London on January 3rd and then will be on the train a couple of days later for Aberdeen, Scotland. They'll be spending that week visiting three Scottish institutions in Aberdeen, Stirling, and Glasgow.  Although the deadline is well past, contact Dorrie (the trip coordinator) at unertl.dorr@students.uwlax.edu for more information. Although we all have an eye on the economy, we still hope to plan another international trip in two years.

  • Registration for the spring semester started on Monday, November 10th, on TALON. Online students are reminded to register for all of their spring courses (both seven week sessions) by January 7th to avoid any enrollment problems.

  • On-Campus students are reminded to register for their SAA 720 courses by January 15th so we can check on the enrollment numbers to make sure each class will be offered. Options this spring include "Historically Black Colleges & Universities" (involves a trip to one of these institutions), "International Issues," and "University Budgets & Finance."

  • The SAA "Application Season" is in full swing! Potential students are reminded that the deadlines are February 1st (Online) & February 15th (On-Campus). Please go to our "Admissions" and "Apply Now" links for more info.
