Student Affairs Retention Committee
The Retention Committee is charged with identifying retention efforts and programs associated with the division of Student Development and Academic Services. These efforts should be summarized and compared with best practices in higher education. The Committee should partner with the Student Learning Committee to identify measures and assess effectiveness of these efforts and make recommendations to the division directors and the dean of students. Recommendations should address various developmental stages such as first and second year programming efforts.
Intentionality and Assessment – We strive to create an environment and programs that improve the institution and student learning experience. Therefore, we are intentional in everything we do including the leadership, service and learning opportunities we offer. We seek to clearly articulate our desired outcomes, review our progress, and systematically make and communicate improvements.
