GRADUATE PROGRAMS

Thinking about graduate school for TESOL?

There are various universities across the country that offer graduate programs in TESOL.  The webpage Finding Teacher Education Programs in TESOL from the tesol.org website is a great place to start.

They have listings in the following categories:

  • Undergraduate Programs

  • Master's Programs

  • Doctoral Programs

  • Graduate Certificate Programs

  • Other Certificate Programs

  • Programs Leading to a State or Provincial Credential

After you view the list of schools that offer the program that you are interested in, it's time to research that school to learn more.

Simply stated,  Google it!

You may also want to check out the American Association for Applied Linguists website for some additional ideas.

Here are a few links to schools in the Midwest to get you started.  But don't think for a second that you have to stay in the area.  One of the advantages of having a TESOL degree is the opportunities to travel around the country and the world!

Also, you can find more M.A. programs in TESOL throughout the U.S. at the following cite: http://www.matesol.info/matesol/tesol-usa-alaska-illinois.htm
