Reunion
Be sure to stop by the Reunion Check-In table in the lobby of
Center for the Arts (16th & Vine Streets) to pick up
your reunion welcome packets.
If you are unable to make it during the sign-in hours,
your packets will also be available at the Welcome Reception.
Green Room Brick Painting Open Session:
1:00-3:30 p.m.
Commemorate your UW-L undergraduate theatre years by painting a
brick in the Green Room.
Paints and brushes will be available for this open
session. (The Green
Room will also be open for brick painting on Friday, July 3 at
8:00-10:00 a.m.)
Welcome Reception:
5:00-7:00 p.m.
Kick off the reunion at the Welcome Reception at the Cleary
Center Dining Hall on the UW-L campus.
Gather with former classmates and friends for hors
d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

Theatre Production:
Hair
7:30 p.m.
Polish up the old sandals.
Restring your beads.
Patch up the bell bottoms and “Let the Sunshine In!”
The UW-L Theatre Department presents the tribal love-rock
musical, Hair,
written by James Rado, Gerome Ragni and Galt MacDermot.
UW-L Theatre has performed
Hair three times
under the direction of the late Dr. Robert S. Joyce and this
year under the creative supervision of Mary Leonard.
A block of seats have been reserved for alumni reunion
attendees. However,
to guarantee your seats, please complete the Alumni Registration
Form. Be sure to

Have breakfast on your own or coordinate with friends.
Enjoy your hotel’s complimentary breakfast or treat
yourself at to a special breakfast at Fayze’s, State Street
Kitchen, or Perkins…just to name a few.

Alumni as Mentors Luncheon:
11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
It’s a small world, and nowhere is that more true than in the
“theatre world.”
Share your knowledge, experience and expertise over lunch with
budding young theatre professionals.
If you plan to attend this event, please be sure to
indicate it on the attached registration form.

Campus/Theatre Tours:
2:00 p.m.
Put on your walking shoes to find out what’s new and what’s
changed on campus with a tour by the UW-L Vanguards.

Rededication of the Robert S. Joyce Green Room:
3:00 p.m.
Dr. Robert Suddards Joyce passed away in 2000, shortly after his
third production of Hair.
Dr. Joyce was an integral part of Theatre Arts at the
Time On Your Own:

This is your time to explore old haunts, explore new attractions
or just relax.

An Afternoon of Improv:
2:00-4:00 p.m.
Are you ready for a laugh-out-loud afternoon of improv?
Step up and show us what you’ve got.
Or, for those who simply wish to play the role of
“audience member” feel free to come and cheer on your favorite
performer. Led by
UW-L Theatre alum and adjunct professor, Anne Drecktrah and
alumni Curtis Bisek.
An Afternoon of Improv
is sure to be fun for all.
