The Upward Bound project at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is dedicated to the preparation for, admission to, and successful completion of a college degree for eligible high school students.
Through academic support, guided experiences, volunteer and job shadow opportunities, and much, much more, UB students are four times more likely to graduate from college than their peers from similar background.
Tutoring positions are open for the 2015 fall semester.
Applications are due by Friday, September 11 for priority review, but positions will remain open until filled.
We will be interviewing applicants during the first two weeks of September and work begins the week of September 29th.
If you have tutored for Upward Bound in the past, you need only complete this survey, no need to reapply or re-interview.
Our PINTREST page includes boards with information about everything from studying techniques to choosing the right college and how to organize your dorm room.
Upward Bound posts updates multiple times a week, this is a very useful resource for participants, parents, and staff.
