Construction of a new academic building is an important first step for UW-L in solving major space issues and improving the quality of general access classrooms. Significant planning is essential in moving this project forward; therefore, I am asking each of you to serve on the New Academic Building Steering Committee. Ron Rada, Bill Colclough, and Matt Lewis will comprise the Executive Team for this group.
The committee's charge will be to assist the Executive Team, in consultation with the campus community and the architects and consultants, in preparation for construction of the new academic building, from the initial planning and design phase to final construction to occupancy. Other ad hoc groups may be initiated and faculty, staff, and students may be invited to participate as needed.
