*STUDENTS PLANNING TO CONTINUE THEIR
SPANISH STUDIES*
If you plan to continue studying
Spanish, you must take the Spanish Placement
Exam during the spring semester of your senior
year. This is required even if you will
have earned college credit for Spanish from
another institution.
The Department of Modern Languages wants to
ensure that your placement in the next level of
Spanish is appropriate for your reading, writing
and speaking abilities. More information will
be provided in the January La Crosse Talk
newsletter.
PLEASE NOTE: It is very important that you first pay the $100 ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT, not the registration deposit.
Fall 2012 new freshmen will be able to sign-up for a date to attend Freshman Registration after the packets are mailed to home addresses in early May 2012. Freshman Registration at UW-La Crosse is a one-day program offered on seven different dates, Mondays through Fridays, in June of each year. At Freshman Registration, incoming freshmen and their families will receive information about attending UW-La Crosse and academic advising to assist you in selecting your first-semester courses.
Housing and roommate assignments will be sent in July, and fall semester new student orientation information is sent in early August. Move-in day is typically the Saturday before Labor Day, with classes beginning the day after Labor Day.
