Graduate Admission
Thank you for your
interest in the graduate programs at UW-La
Crosse. UW-L is a member of the Council of
Graduate Schools and has several programs with
national accreditation.
To apply as a
degree-seeking student to a UW-L graduate
program, complete the
UW System
online application, submit a nonrefundable
$56 application fee, and submit all official
transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) to the
UW-L Admissions Office. If you attended UW-L,
you do not need to submit official transcripts
from UW-L; however, you will need to submit
official transcripts from any other
post-secondary institutions attended if they
have not been previously submitted to UW-L. Your
application fee and official transcripts can be

For admission
consideration to graduate study, you must have:

A baccalaureate
degree from an accredited
institution.

An overall
undergraduate grade point
average of at least 2.85 on a
4.00 scale,
or an average
of at least 3.00 in the last
half of all undergraduate work,
or an average
of at least 3.00 for no less
than 12 semester credits of
graduate study at another
accredited graduate school.
The graduate study GPA
admission consideration option
is not applicable for students
applying to the MBA program.
Some programs have higher
grade point average admission
requirements.

Many graduate programs
require additional supplemental
application materials.
