About Us
The Academic Advising Center seeks to assist UW-La Crosse students by addressing concerns that pertain to UW-L academic policies, general education requirements, exploring majors & careers, registration, credit transfer process, graduate school exploration, and other general advising questions.
Students that have not declared a major or are unsure about their current major can work with the AAC to discuss how they might strategically explore undergraduate majors at UW-La Crosse and choose a major that may be consistent with their interest, abilities, and values.
Mission Statement
The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Academic Advising Center is committed to provide all students developmental academic advising grounded in teaching and based on valuing a liberal arts education. Through this process, students develop the skills and self-knowledge to be adaptable, accountable and reflective lifelong learners. This results in the ability to set personal goals and to make intelligent educational, career, and life choices to achieve those goals.
