Unlimited PASSage
U-PASS DETAILS:
The UW-L Student Association, UW-L
Administration, and MTU worked
together to bring UW-La Crosse
students
and employees the U-PASS program. The Program has two parts: daily unlimited,
fare free passage on all MTU bus routes and the
Safe Ride - a safe ride between downtown
and campus during evening hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
The Safe Ride began with the Fall 2000-01 Semester and the daily
fare free MTU service for students kicked off with the Spring 2000-01
Semester. The MTU bus service was expanded to include faculty and
staff in September 2001.
From the fall of 2000 through 2011, MTU buses have provided over 1,473,367 rides for students!
STUDENTS:
The UW-La Crosse U-PASS program for students is provided by your
Student Association and includes unlimited access to any Municipal
Transit Utility (MTU) bus -anytime, anywhere! Just show your UW-L
Student I.D. card to the bus driver and you're ready to go anywhere
you like. The cost of the program is included in your student fees.
Any non-UW-L student can ride at regular fare.
