This year Alpha Phi is in
charge of the Philanthropy event, and we have decided to sell the
bracelets that Natalie talked about during our meeting. They are black
bracelets similar to the livestrong bracelets and sell for $2.00 each.
The money goes to the victim's families of NIU. We have tables reserved
Monday thru Thursday 11-4. Because the philanthropy is Alpha Phi's
event I feel it is very important that at least one Alpha Phi is present
at all times at the tables (also the more time we have an Alpha Phi
present at the table the more points we get for Greek Week). So you can
sign up by email but I will bring a sign-up to the meeting Sunday also.
They will be half-hour shifts. As far as Pearl Points go, to get your
points for this event you have to sit at the table for one hour (either
consecutive or not).
