* In 1902, Alpha Phi called together the first Inter-Sorority meeting. This Conference later came to be known as National Panhellenic Conference (NPC).

* Alpha Phi was the first sorority to own a chapter house and was the first NPC sorority to have a National Web Page!

* A professor of Greek at Syracuse University instructed the women to pronounce the letter "Phee" to be grammatically correct for a letter following a vowel.

* Alpha Phi is one of only three International Sororities.

* The original colors were blue and gold but they were changed to a more distinctive Silver and Bordeaux in 1879 when it was discovered Delta Upsilon had the same colors.
