Welcome to UW-L AMA. I first joined this organization as a freshman and have been involved ever since. I am currently a junior with a Marketing Major and Graphic Design Minor. My favorite aspect of marketing is advertising. One of my goals after college is to work for a major company such as GE or Nike. When I’m not working on AMA stuff or school, I enjoy long walks on the beach...haha, just kidding! I actually enjoy playing guitar and staying active through sports.

Hey, I'm Amanda Schilling and I am the VP of Finance. Basically my job is to take care of all the financial aspects for the club, which is self explanatory based on the title I guess. I am a Marketing major with a minor in Psychology and will be graduating in December of 2010. I am currently employed at Festival Foods in La Crosse as a cashier, a banquet server and hostess at River Jack's, and a Sales Representative Intern at JT Advertising and Graphics, Inc. When I have free time I love hanging out with friends or going to the golfing range when weather permits. I also love shopping, traveling, Bennett O'Riley's, and country music. I think AMA is going to be great this year and I'm really looking forward to it.

Hey there, I am Sara Monahan and I am the Vice President of Programs. This is my senior year and I will be graduating in May! I will graduate with a major in marketing with an emphasis in communications. I hope to move to the Twin Cities after graduation to pursue a career in the medical device industry. Outside of my studies I enjoy being outdoors and relaxing with friends and family.

Hi, my name is Austin Teas and I am the Vice President of Communications. With this being my third year in AMA, I hope to bring forth experience and new ideas to the table. I am a Marketing major, Art minor, and I plan on graduating in the spring of 2011. I am looking forward to a great year and hope the Packers can make a comeback.

Hi, my name is Corinn Ploessl and I am the Director of Internal Communications. I am in charge of keeping everyone up-to-date on the happenings of AMA. I am a Marketing major with a minor in French. I spent 6 weeks in Caen, France during the summer of 2009 and hope to return some day soon! I plan on graduating in May of 2010 and hope to land a job at Epic in Madison as a Project Manager. I am employed at the YMCA and have probably seen a lot of you coming in to workout! I love hanging out with my friends, dancing, shopping, and photography. AMA is going to be really awesome this year and I’m pumped for everything we’re going to be doing!

I have chosen to major in Marketing with a minor in Public Relations Communication because I do not have a fear of public speaking. I despise cooking and average four bowls of cereal a day to avoid turning on the stove. I do enjoy reading leisure books and making homemade greeting cards. Hola! I'm Abby Harris, and I will be graduating in May 2010 with a double major in Human Resource Management and Spanish. I joined AMA last year and this is my first year on the board. I work at Park Bank in La Crosse as a teller. I enjoy dancing, fishing, and doing anything outdoors. I was born in Kansas so I'm a big Jayhawks fan! My name is Laura Lipke, and I’m in charge of making sure we have amazing socials this year! I will be graduating in May 2010 with a degree in Marketing. Currently I am a sales associate at Victoria’s Secret, shift manager at the Holmen Festival Foods, and receptionist at Barge Chiropractic. I am a left-handed vegetarian who loves the outdoors. I transferred here from UW-Madison where I was on the Women’s Crew team, and I still love to row any chance I get. I also love yoga, traveling, shopping, photography, and the Popcorn Tavern. I’m looking forward to this AMA year and hope you are too!

Hey guys! My name is Paige Brooks. This is my senior year and I will be graduating in May 2010 with a Marketing degree. I am excited to be graduating, but also really sad. The years flew by, so enjoy them as much as you can and get as much experience as possible! This will be my second year in AMA and my first year on the board. I received the position of the Director of Advertising for this year and look forward to designing flyers/boards and getting the word out there for AMA. When I am not going to classes, working, or doing homework, I love doing anything active and hanging out with friends.

Hey, I'm Lindsey Whitescarver and I hope to graduate in May 2012 with a Marketing major. Last year I delivered many cakes for AMA which inspired me to run for the Director of Campus Cakes for this year! At home in Janesville, I work at Kohl's and in La Crosse, I work at the front desk in Drake. I swing dance, play the violin, and do free lance graphic design/magazine/wedding photography in my hometown. Don't forget, when you deliver cakes, everyone benefits!

My name is Scott Horner, and I am happy to be representing everything that an "official" board member can't! I am a senior Marketing major here at UW-L and plan on graduating in May 2010. I am originally from Lake Elmo MN and went to high school at North High in North St. Paul, MN. I love the Twins, Vikings, Wild and Gophers, and enjoy all watching and playing all types of sports. I currently work for the UW-L campus newspaper the Racquet as an account executive, and just hope to land a good job upon graduation. Hope to have a great last year here at UW-L and AMA!

Why hello there - I'm David Diller and I'm the good ol' Web Admin, which means I take care of AMA's website here. I'm a Senior Information Systems major and will be graduating in Spring 2010. I also run the web site for DSP, the business fraternity on campus, and run several of my own sites on the side (when you've been doing it for 10 years like I have, you build up a portfolio). I am a techy at heart so anything tech-related you can probably find me tinkering with. Except Macs, which don't count. If you have any questions about the AMA website please send me an email!
