Neala Frye 

Neala FryeNeala P. Frye, 23, of La Crosse passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.

She was born June 17, 1989, in Beloit, Wis., the daughter of John Frye and Roxanne (Ruppert) Weeden. Neala was a 2007 graduate of Evansville High School where she was the captain of the Pom Pom Squad her senior year and a member of FFA (Future Farmers of America). She was in her senior year at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, where she was on the board of directors for the American Marketing Association and was the Director of Advertising.

Neala was so full of life and had a very unique personality. She is loved by so many people. Neala loved the animals in her life, especially her loving dogs, Jay and Duke. You didn’t need to spend a lifetime with Neala to love her, you only needed a couple hours. Neala enjoyed working out and loved being with her friends and making people laugh.

The Neala Frye Memorial Fund

The Neala Frye Memorial Fund is an endowment scholarship fund set up to offer financial assistance to a student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The student who will receive this award will be pursuing a marketing degree, enrolled in the CBA as a junior or senior, maintaining a high level of commitment to their studies and to their community, as well as portray the charismatic, outgoing, loving personality of our amazing friend and family member, Neala Frye.
