The Asian Student Organization (ASO) is a non-profit organization that was created to help and assist Asian students who attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The mission of the Asian Student organization is to:
1.To support Asian students and UW-L students in experiencing campus life, and associating with other Asians in the La Crosse area communities.
2.To bring together those who are interested in learning more about the Asian heritage and cultures.
3. To help create a better understanding about Asian heritage and cultures by learning and educating the UW-L campus and the La Crosse area communities.
4. To provide Asian students with academic, cultural, and social opportunities.
ASO is a recognized university organization and is an important component of the campus. ASO has an ongoing commitment to educate the campus, community and members about the different ethnic and cultures groups within the Racial construct of the Asian community. Our weekly meetings are Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in 2215 Centennial Hall.
