UW-L Places Eighth at Pre-National Invite; Vike Top Finisher

Northfield, Minn. – The UW-La Crosse men’s cross country team placed eighth at the St. Olaf Pre-National Invite Saturday afternoon. The Eagles finished with 202 team pionts while North Central College (Ill.) took the team title with 24. A total of 15 participated.

Leading the way for the Eagles was Broc Vike who finished 28th overall on the 8,000-meter course (28:03.0). Dan Pizzi placed 32nd (28:28.0) for UW-L while Josh Hohensee was 56th (29:16.2).

Sean Harrington finished 61st (29:28.5); Steve Vesbach 73rd (30:00.06); Connor Sparks 77th (30:06.1); Mike Miller 95th (30:40.2); Wade Hassel 100th (30:57.7) and Dan Buvid 108th (31:13.7).
