Ms. Lyons graduated with a Masters Degree in Accounting in 1994 from Illinois State University and was awarded her CPA designation that same year. Prior to teaching at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, she taught at Illinois State while completing her graduate work. She also has an extensive background in Food Service Management. Awards received over the years include Bata Gamma Sigma Honors, Alpha Omega honors, and the outstanding Graduate Student in Accounting- Illinois State University, 1994. Her future focus will be on the changing environment of accounting education
