Junior and Senior
Economic Major

Economics-related images

Also see the Economics Department Web site for more detailed information.

Junior/Senior Year:

ECO 305 Intermediate Macroeconomic Analysis (prereq. ECO 110, 120)
    - usually only offered in the fall semester
ECO 308 Intermediate Microeconomic Analysis (prereq. ECO 110, 120)
    - usually only offered in the spring semester

Students will select at least four elective economics courses, 300/400 level, to complete the major requirements. The fifth elective may be any additional 300/400 level course in a business area, including internship credit (ECO 450).

Special notice should be given to the University’s graduation requirement of 40 credits at the 300/400 level. Students will not automatically meet this requirement and may need to plan for additional credit at that level. It’s a good idea to check this requirement on the SNAP report before the senior year to determine how many, if any, credits students will still need to elect to meet this requirement.
