Business Program to Program Agreement for the
College of Business Administration and WTC Business Programs

General Education

Generally, students at WTC may be able to transfer up to 30 credits in general education coursework to UW-L. This is applicable to any program, regardless of where the student initially attended school, WTC or UW-L. It is not necessary to earn an associate degree prior to transferring to UW-L. A complete list of transferable general education courses is available from appropriate personnel at WTC or from the UW-L Admissions Office, 115 Graff Main Hall, 785-8939.

Non-General Education Business Core

The Business Program-to-Program agreement applies to students enrolled at WTC in the following business programs

Accounting
Business Administration-Personnel
Finance
General Marketing

who transfer to the business program at UW-L.

In addition to the general education coursework mentioned above, students in this agreement may be allowed to transfer up to an additional nine credits in non-general education, business core coursework. This may include the following:

* This course will not fulfill General Education Program requirements for the bachelor’s degree at UW-L.

*The coursework stated above may only be transferable in the Business Program-to-Program agreement. Should a WTC transfer student change to a non-business program after enrollment at UW-L, this non-general education business course initially accepted in transfer will be dropped from the record at UW-L.

Further, students may not complete and transfer the above non-general education course after initial enrollment at UW-L. Completion of the associate degree prior to initial enrollment at UW-L is not required.
