Structured as a general preparation for managerial careers, the MBA program prepares
students for positions of responsibility in business, education and government. The
program is offered in the evening and is available to all qualified students, regardless of undergraduate
major. The program may be pursued on a part-time or full-time basis.
The MBA curriculum consists of two phases - the foundation
and the MBA graduate core and electives. Students with
a bachelor's degree in a business field normally will have satisfied the
foundation.. Others, with
degrees in non-business fields, must successfully complete the foundation prior to
enrollment in the second phase of the program.
Methods of instruction include lecture, group presentations and research projects, case
study, research papers and journals. There is no thesis or terminal seminar required in
this program.
About 45 faculty with terminal (Ph.D.) degrees from a variety of US and international
institutions teach our MBA courses. Many faculty are also professionally qualified.
