George Watsky

A college student and undisputed backtalk champion, George Watsky has already achieved so much in his young career. He is not afraid to bring up subjects such as politics, class, hierarchies and schoolyard etiquette. George won the Youth Speaks Poetry Grand Slam Finals in March 2006 with a perfect score. Later that year he won Robert Redford's Sundance Summit Award for poetry on climate chance. In 2007 he was on the sixth season of Russell Simmons presents  Def Poetry  on HBO.  George Watsky will baffle your ears and truly make you think.
