Ragamala Dance

Ragamala presents dance, music, and poetry that blend the East and West into a unique and innovative presentation, that uses music of many cultures. The dance is based in Bharatanatyam, the ancient dance of southern India, and traditionally is used as a vehicle for worship and expression of profound and subtle emotion. With bright, rich, colorful costumes the dances not only bring to life poetry and Indian culture, but also appease the eye.
