Peace One Day
Week Long Celebration
September 17- 21, 2012
Peace One Day is a not-for-profit organization
that hopes to inspire a day of cease-fire and
nonviolence in the world. La Crosse is joining
the globe in dedicating one week in September
for this purpose and to celebrate Peace Day on
September 21. The week will consist of
speakers, a vigil at Riverside Park in downtown
La Crosse, and other events. The week will end
with a peace concert at Blue Cup Coffee House on
the corner of 14th and Pine Streets. This week
is a collaboration of many organizations
including UW-L, Viterbo, and several community
entities.
