This Week's Events

December 3, 2012 - December 9, 2012

1, 2, 3 Thursday: Local Talent (Anderson Brothers!)
Thursday, December 6, 2012 @ 7:00 pm

Aaron and Ryan Anderson, two talented brothers who have been performing together for 6 years, will be performing in the Cellar! Their set includes music from a large variety of genres, and they also play acoustic guitar, percussion, and harmonica. Take a break from studying and homework and join us in the Cellar for their show!

Join CAB the first, second, and third Thursday each month in the Cellar for 1, 2, 3 Thursdays where we bring local talent, Open Mic Nights and Game Nights to liven up the Cellar.  Open Mic Nights allow the spotlight to shine on the many talented students of UW-L and students can win awesome prizes during game nights.  Hit up the Cellar and grab some grub every 1, 2, 3 Thursday of each month.

Co-sponsored with University Centers and Sodexo

• Location: The Cellar, Cartwright Center • Cost: Free •
Free Movie Friday: Elf
Friday, December 7, 2012 @ 6:00 pm & 9 pm

Buddy was a baby in an orphanage who stowed away in Santa's sack and ended up at the North Pole. Later, as an adult human who happened to be raised by elves, Santa allows him to go to New York City to find his birth father, Walter Hobbs. Hobbs, on Santa's naughty list for being a heartless jerk, had no idea that Buddy was even born. Buddy, meanwhile, experiences the delights of New York City (and human culture) as only an elf can. When Walter's relationship with Buddy interferes with his job, he is forced to reevaluate his priorities.

CAB will be presenting, free of charge, pre-released movies the first Friday of each month throughout the year.  Start your weekend off right with a blockbuster hit.

Two Showings:
6:00 PM in Graff Main Hall Auditorium
9:00 PM in The Cellar

Co-sponsored with University Centers and Sodexo
