"300+" is a local group consisting of past and present UW-L students. Each member brings a unique color to the group, which has lead to an incredibly diverse selection of music, from "The Darkness" to "Rush" all the way over to "Lady Gaga" and "Amy Winehouse". You can find them on the first Wednesday of every month having a great time rocking out the Popcorn Tavern. The group has also begun recording their first ep, which should be available before the year is out. Stay updated with the guys and their upcoming gigs and news at www.facebook.com/

Gail Williamson is respected around the world for her skill and passion for working with people who have Down Syndrome or other developmental disabilities. Williamson helps people with disabilities find work in entertainment and became part of the industry after her son Blair, who has Down Syndrome, was cast in a national commercial and she realized how the media can help shape societal perception of people with developmental disabilities. She has helped provide talent to well known shows such as Glee, Law and Order: SVU, ER and Scrubs among many others. Williamson hopes that through her work and by speaking to others she is able to convey the current climate and attitude towards people with DS and other developmental disabilities and create a positive and educated perspective in people.
Co-sponsored with Children of the Heart: Family and Friends of People with Down Syndrome and UW-L Center on Disability Health and Adapted Physical Activity
