Mara is a senior at UW-La Crosse working towards a bachelor of science in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Advocacy and Cultural Criticism and a minor in Sociology. She has also been involved in organizations on campus such as the UW-L Women's Track and Field team, American Sign Language, Rainbow Unity and many Residence Life positions including Conference Assistant, Executive Officer, Administrative Assistant, and Resident Assistant. Mara is now an Assistant Communication Coordinator intern in the Campus Climate office. After discovering her passion for advocacy and diversity issues, Mara has been working dilegently towards her dream to create awareness, advocate acceptance and understanding, and diminish ignorance.
