Career Services has found that one of the most effective ways to reach out to students on career planning issues is by having strong relationships with the academic departments.  Below are a few ways for us connect and share information. 

Internships and Cooperative Education: The UW-La Crosse Cooperative Education and Internship Program is one of the largest centralized internship programs in Wisconsin.  For more information on faculty/staff participation in the internship program click here.  Career Services hosts frequent information sessions for students interested in internships. Presentations to Classes and Student Organizations
:  Career Services staff members make hundreds of classroom presentations each year on a variety of topics.  Career Services offers collegial coverage to faculty who are unable to attend class, so please don't cancel class - call Career Services at (608) 785-8514 or use the on-line presentation request form.

Resources to Help Students with Major and Career Decisions: Although not every UW-L major is covered, What Can I do with this Major? can be a great resource to help students make major and career decisions. Career Assistance
:  Extensive career resources are available on the Career Services website.  Additionally, Career Services staff members are available to meet with students to discuss any of the following topics:
