About the Conference
The conference is an opportunity to meet with colleagues from across campus to explore issues and approaches to teaching and learning. There will be 36 presentations by UW-L faculty and staff. The conference begins at 1:00 p.m. with three concurrent panel discussions about online teaching, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and the challenges and rewards of publishing a book. From 2:00-3:30 there will be two poster sessions that include 30 poster presentations on a broad range of topic. The conference concludes with three concurrent sessions on incorporating research activities into a course, reducing stereotype threat on campus, and improving learning at the program level through assessment.
