This project will perform a study of options for
increasing campus chilled water system capacity to meet the
cooling load requirements for the new UW-L science building
(Phase I) and the new UW-L student center building, both of
which are scheduled to start construction during the 2013-15
biennia. Additional future loads to the campus central chilled
water system will also be considered as part of this study. The
intent of the study is to present several alternatives for
adding campus chiller capacity along with associated
expansion/modification of the underground chilled water
distribution system.
