PRSSA plans Ovation tour
The Public Relations Student Society of America chapter will be taking a tour of Ovation Marketing in La Crosse on Wed., Nov. 16, at 4 p.m.
Ovation Marketing is located at 201 Main St., 6th floor. The PRSSA officers received a lot of feedback from members about which day of the week worked best for the tour and Wednesday won by a landslide! Please note that Ovation Marketing is not a PR firm, but there are many people in PRSSA that are interested in Marketing, so we see this fitting. Ovation’s Dave Larson will be hosting the tour and showing PRSSA members how PR and Marketing work together and also how they are similar and different. http://www.ovationmarketing.com/
PRSSA t-shirts are being made. To get one, contact Sarah Ballweg.

Coming soon to a PC near you – comm. theory pod casts
Students in Dr. Rodrick’s CST theory course (CST 301) are working on a project to create podcasts that describe particular communication theories and their application in research. We’re hoping to put these podcasts on the CST web site in MP3 form, so students and others can use them as a resource. To find out more about communication theory, podcasts, or CST 301 – contact Dr. Rodrick.
