Elections for 2013/2014 LIR Officers will be held at the Spring Annual Meeting, May 7. Anyone wishing to be nominated for the positions of president, vice president, treasurer, secretary or historian should let a member of the executive committee know so your name can be placed on nomination paperwork.

Rotary Lights 2012
This is the fourth year of Rotary Lights volunteer work
collecting food and cash donations, and decorating Riverside
Park with 2.6 million lights - a favorite holiday tradition!
Thanks to those volunteers that helped with our part of the volunteer work: Bill and Mary Graumann, Shirley Anderson, Lorenz Bischel, Julie Ripp, Mary Rae, Tom and Jane Treglowne, John Bender, Mary Kay Skemp, Gary and Jan Olson, Barbara Olson and her grandson, Elmo!
This year, our tree was on the Mississippi River side of the park with a UW-L LIR sign. Hopefully, with the viewing by a large number of people, it will generate interest in our organization and perhaps result in some new members.
We will be looking for volunteers for 2013 at our Welcome Back Social, September 9.
