- Symposium in Education: Best Practice Pedagogy (3 credits*)

This course will focus on teacher professional growth through study of, analysis of, and reflection on best practice pedagogy. Course foundation will be the five core propositions of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. - Symposium in Education: Teacher Leadership (3 credits*)

New teacher roles have emerged that place teachers as change leaders. The focus of this course emphasizes the foundational knowledge, skills and dispositions that will facilitate teachers becoming leaders and mentors in classroom, building or district/organization level.
*A $15 Registration Fee/semester and a $2/credit D2L (Desire2Learn) Fee is assessed to all undergraduate and graduate students each semester.
These are the same courses developed and taught by the same professors who teach in the UW-La Crosse classrooms. Your faculty, Bob Krajewski, Ed.D and Patricia Markos, Ph.D utilize the same learning materials and have adapted and enhanced their courses to the interactive online environment with assistance of professional instructional designers.
