Research Tools and Processes
This highly interactive course will analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data relative to health education, health promotion, public health, medicine, and epidemiology. Assist students to become critical consumers of research literature and design their own studies. Prerequisite: CHE 350 or equivalent. You will learn how to work with:
- basic statistical principles for public health
- formulas, functions and the data analysis toolpak
- summarizing continuous variables
- probability functions
- confidence intervals
- hypothesis testing
- regression analysis
