Registration Dates & Information

Summer and Fall Cohort Pre-registration begins April 3, 2008

Open Registration begins April 14, 2008

Confirmations: Registration confirmation will be sent approximately one week before the course begins.

Cancellations: Cancellations for credit courses must be submitted in writing to Continuing Education and Extension. After the course begins, refunds are prorated according to UW-L guidelines. We reserve the right to cancel courses due to low enrollment.

Textbooks: Graduate students must purchase texts and/or materials.

Special Accommodations: Registrants who need special accommodations are invited to provide that information at time of registration or at least two weeks prior to the program so that Section 504 considerations can be completed. Contact Continuing Education and Extension if you desire accommodations. Requests will be kept confidential.

TALON (Online) Registration Procedures
By using UW-La Crosse’s online registration system (TALON) you will be able to get immediate confirmation that your registration has been processed.

Any past bills must be paid before the student will be allowed to register on TALON for the summer session. Pay by credit card on our Web site or send fee payments to the Cashier:

Allow 3-5 days for the cashier’s office to process your check before beginning TALON registration. The TALON system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week (except Mondays and Wednesdays 7-8 p.m. and Sundays 8-10 a.m.). If you have difficulty using the system, please call the registration help line at 608.785.8755 between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

You will need your student identification or social security number and your PIN. Your PIN will be the month and day of your birth if this is your first time accessing the TALON system. You will be required to change your PIN the first time you use the system. Remember the number you choose because you will use it each time you enter the system.
