Sport Administration
This course will cover principles of management theory and practice in the sport industry, including management functions, personnel, fiscal, program, and facility management of the athletic/sport administration enterprise.

Fall 2008:

Introduction to Research
Students will explore the purposes, methods and techniques used in the conduct of research. Emphasis will be on understanding the product of current research in the field of Sport Administration. Each student will be guided through a self-selected research problem.

Financial Management of Sport Programs
Principles of sport finance and economics are covered, including: Budget development and management, fundraising and economic Impact of sport, financial theories and practical application of sport income and expenditures in current society.
