About UW-La Crosse

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is a comprehensive college of approximately 10,000 students. It is nestled in the Mississippi River Valley between beautiful forested bluffs. Collaboration between the mathematics and biology departments are active with a weekly working group in mathematical ecology.

The La Crosse area is home to the USGS Upper Mississippi Environmental Science Center and the US Fish and Wildlife Resources office.
