Penny
manages professional development educational opportunities
around the state and across the nation. Her conferences and
workshops are developed to meet the needs and interests of all
ages. She also manages campus summer pre-college programs. Penny
can provide conference support, including planning marketing,
logistics, financial management and overall program execution.
She handles all the details and arrangements to make your next
conference or workshop a success.

Lynn
strengthens partnerships between school districts and UW-La
Crosse faculty and staff. She provides professional development
opportunities that assist area educators in career changes,
advancement and keeping up-to-date on issues and trends in
education. Lynn also manages the ME-PD Learning Community
program and has contributed significantly to its growth and
success. Lynn can provide or assist you with program development
to meet the needs of both individual and groups of educators.

Gary
develops community health courses, conferences and workshops.
His programs have included the Violence Intervention and
Prevention (VIP) Institute and the Adolescent Health Symposium.
He also chairs the Wisconsin Health Education Network (WHEN).
Gary works with health care organizations, public health
agencies at the local and state levels, and is willing to
explore new educational venues that meet specific needs of your
organization.

Andrea, Human Services Program Manager, has developed and
delivered human service programs to community practitioners and
agencies for more than 12 years. She works with the Gerontology
Certificate program and develops new initiatives to meet the
needs of area health and human service professionals. For more

Carol keeps the financial records and does all the bookkeeping
for the Continuing Education and Extension Office. She keeps
accounts balanced, gets bills paid and checks processed for all
of our many programs.

Susanne oversees our in-house database and coordinates direct
marketing, online and general marketing efforts. She also
manages our office and supervises student workers. Susanne is a
primary contact for individuals inquiring about programs and

Karen works with youth programs, the Gerontology and Autism

Susan coordinates administrative support for the ME-PD Learning
Community Program. She is a key contact for prospective students
inquiring about the graduate program and a point person for
facilitator support. Susan has strengthened communications and
provided a resource link to students at off-campus locations
throughout the state and UW-La Crosse. If you are interested in

Jan coordinates a number of non-credit programs, many which are
partnered with outside organizations. She works closely with the
Learning in Retirement organization. Jan received an Award for
Exceptional Service from the University of Wisconsin-Extension,
which recognizes her commitment to excellence through her
contributions to the campus and to the community.

Tracy develops marketing plans, conducts formal and informal
market research, oversees our Web site as well as oversees the
production and distribution of marketing publications, including
Access. Marketing involves listening to the community to learn

Kay works with faculty and staff interested in online computer
mediated learning experiences. She has developed and continues
to teach Introduction to Family History Online. Currently she
spends most of her time with the ME-PD Learning Community
program, introducing technology that allows facilitators and
students to blend face-to-face experiences with online learning.
