Special Topics Seminar in Education - "Cross-Cultural Communication Strategies for K-12 Educators"

Communication is an essential human activity that bridges cultural differences and nurtures empathetic understandings of cultural differences. This course will help students to develop and enhance cross-cultural classroom communication competencies and curriculum. Students will learn both theories and practices of cross-cultural communication, in particular within their respective classroom settings. This course will progress through knowledge acquisition and teaching strategies development stages: preparation/research, planning, and assessment.
