“Critical Techniques” – While these techniques are among topics covered in Reg IV or similar delineation training, this workshop is a unique opportunity to interact with top experts on the use and documentation of techniques often found at the heart of differences over delineations.
- Problem and Atypical Site Procedures – what they are;when to use them; offsite techniques for agricultural parcels
- Hydrology – FAC Neutral Test, when and how to use it;using soil surveys to detect hydrology
- Soils – evaluating the actual site soil profile
- Plants – determining dominance; using the 50-20 rule
- Reports – just as your teachers told you, show your work; common items that cause questions
